Approach v 2

Welcome to Be Well, a community dedicated to providing safe and inclusive spaces for individuals to experience healing through evidence-based spiritual practices.

These practices have been proven to help manage symptoms of trauma (anxiety, depression, etc.), also known as mental dis-ease. Spiritual practices include: movement/play (music, breathing, stretching), learning, story telling (narrative theology) and community!

We are trauma-informed, healing centered, and prioritize psychological safety. We believe in a holistic and intentional (mindful) approach to healing and respect every person’s unique journey towards healing that will often require different approaches. Our hope is that the Be Well Community Center can be one of many spaces within our community where individuals can come to be well. Finally, we define “love” as including “without abuse.”

Many individuals, and all leaders, in Be Well have first-hand experience living with complex-trauma and understand the challenges and commitment it takes to recover and heal from trauma.

Don’t know where to start? Join a Be Well Discussion for a great introduction. Again, We are glad you are here!
